In order to reduce the downtime of a satellite and minimize the effect of unexpected events, it is vital for operators to monitor their Space Ground Station Equipment continuously. This can be achieved by implementing automation functions that monitor the condition of the satellite and alert the team on duty in case something abnormal is detected.

RBC Signals and CobhamSatcom, declared an agreement for deploying CobhamSatcom's adaptable Tracker 6000 and 3700 series ground stations globally, in February 2023.
